📸 Studio Experience & Guest Guidelines

What We Provide
Your self portrait session includes access to our studio space, camera equipment, lighting setup, and other resources needed to complete your shoot such as sitting props, flowers, fashion items like sunglasses and hats, and graduation gowns. Photo editing, high-quality digital images and photo prints are also included, depending on your package.

Arrival & Check-In
To ensure your session starts on time, please arrive at least 5–10 minutes early to check in, change outfits if needed, and get settled. Your session may begin and end at the scheduled time, regardless of your arrival time.

Your Privacy Matters
We take privacy seriously. Any personal or session-related information will never be shared with outside parties without your written permission.

Use of Photos & Consent
We will never post or use your photos or videos for marketing unless we have your explicit consent. If you have given permission previously but change your mind, you may contact us at any time to request removal of your content from our website or social channels, and we will act on it promptly.

What’s Not Allowed in Sessions
To maintain a respectful and safe environment, we do not allow any of the following in your session:

  • Illegal or unsafe behavior or materials like weapons, etc.
  • Content that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination

If Rules Are Broken
If we believe your session involves any prohibited content or behavior, we may stop the session immediately and no refund will be issued. Final decisions are at the discretion of the studio staff.

Entire Agreement
Any changes to these terms must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

Jurisdiction
All sessions are subject to the laws of the province where the booking takes place.


🛡️ Studio Safety & Responsibility

STUDIObyU is dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and inspiring space. We ask that all guests treat the studio, its equipment, and other visitors with care and consideration.

Personal Responsibility & Awareness
Customers are expected to use the studio space safely. Any injuries or incidents resulting from negligence, misuse of equipment, or unsafe behavior are the customer’s responsibility.

Supervision & Conduct
All guests must follow staff guidance and studio signage during their visit. If you bring children or additional guests, you are responsible for their supervision and behavior.

Liability Waiver
By participating in a session, you agree to release STUDIObyU from liability for any injury, loss, or damage that results from your actions or those of your guests.

Studio Property & Equipment
Any damage caused to walls, furniture, props, or equipment due to misuse may result in repair or replacement charges. Please handle everything with care.

Limited Insurance Coverage
While we maintain general liability insurance, please note that coverage does not extend to damage caused by clients or their guests.

Legal & Safety Compliance
All clients are expected to comply with applicable laws, safety regulations, and studio policies during their visit.

Punctuality & Session Timing
All sessions begin at the scheduled time. Arriving late may reduce your available time, as sessions cannot be extended unless arranged in advance.


đź“… Rescheduling

We understand that unexpected changes can happen. If you need to reschedule your appointment, we’re happy to accommodate one change per booking, provided the request is made with enough notice.

Free Rescheduling:

You may reschedule for free if your request is made at least 3 days before your appointment.

Example:
If your session is booked for Saturday, please request the change by Wednesday at the latest.

Late Rescheduling Fees:

  • 2 days before the session: $10 fee (e.g., Thursday for a Saturday session)
  • 1 day before the session: $15 fee (e.g., Friday for a Saturday session)
  • Same-day or missed sessions: Not eligible for rescheduling

Please note that each session can be rescheduled once only. Additional changes are not permitted.


↩️ Cancellation & Refund

Because we reserve studio space and staff for each session, we offer refunds only under specific conditions.

Refund Eligibility:

A refund will be provided if both of the following are true:

  1. Your booking was made within the past 48 hours, and
  2. There are at least 48 hours remaining before your scheduled session.

Example:
If you booked your session on Monday for a Thursday appointment, you're eligible for a refund if you request it by Tuesday.

If You're Not Eligible for a Refund:

We’d be happy to help you reschedule your session instead, please refer to the rescheduling section above for timing and potential fees.


đźš« No-Show

If you miss your appointment without notice, the session is considered a no-show. In these cases, unfortunately:

  • No refunds will be issued
  • Rescheduling is not available

We kindly ask that you notify us in advance to avoid forfeiting your session.


⏰ Late Arrival

Arriving late may shorten your session time, and lost time cannot usually be made up. To get the most out of your session, we recommend arriving 5 minutes early.
